Owner of Evangeline Parish restaurant admits guilt after business burns down

An Evangeline Parish business owner has pled guilty in connection to a fire that burned down his restaurant down in July of 2013.
On December 7th, John Deville Jr. pled guilty to "simple arson". He was sentenced to five years in jail, with four years suspended.  He'll also be put on probation.
Deville was accused of helping start the fire that destroyed the Rendezvous Dinner Club in Ville Platte.  His employee, Eric Johnson, was found guilty of aggravated arson and obstruction of peace earlier this year.
